Sensuality, art and female strength are constant sources of inspiration to Dagmar. The brand was founded in 2005 by three sisters and named after their original muse – their grandmother Dagmar, who was a seamstress. In 2011, Dagmar was awarded with the most prestigious fashion prize in Scandinavia, the Guldknappen.
The garments from DAGMAR stand out with their unique combination of high quality, contemporary feeling and sensual design. The feeling, the colours and the patterns are found primarily in the Art Deco period of the 20’s and 30’s.

In their autumn collection The Swedish Woman, Dagmar features two radiant women: Lisbeth Salander and Sigrid Hjertén. The latter, a renowned early 20th century Swedish colourist, meets the present-day literary icon who has renewed the image of the Swedish woman.
