The brand JOSEFINSTRID is based on the vision of an urban and conscious consumer, aware of quality and long lasting clothing. With a base in classic men’s tailoring and an aim to investigate masculinity in menswear, the designer develops collections for the contemporary man.
At JOSEFINSTRID we stand for more than clothes as just utility products. They are about the overall feeling, perception and expression – luxury in the form of material, finish, construction and fit – creating beautiful garments meant to be used season after season.

Each season includes two lines – one Limited line, with pieces where the concept is taken to its peak. Ignoring all restrictions and boundaries, we give our viewer an experience of our creative sphere. Our Ready-to-Wear line is designed for everyday use and has an obvious resemblance to each season’s topic. The basis of the brand JOSEFINSTRID is to offer a wardrobe based on tradition developed for contemporary use, with sharp but poetic expression.

This collection is about reflection, stopping and thinking about the past, the present and the future. What has been done and how does it affect what comes next? Many reviews were read and discussions led and our muse already present from the start. Who are we? Who do we want to be? What is our design program?

The designer’s time in NYC became a wake-up call. The mission was all clear and after one afternoon at Whitney Museum she was ready to start.

The designer’s aim is to investigate and explore the masculinity in menswear and how it can be bent in various directions.
