Maria Nilsdotter creates wearable art with a playful touch. The jewellery is characterized by symbolic figures and unexpected twists and thought provoking contrasts. All the work is handmade out of precious metals, stones and pearls to create timeless and beautiful jewellery.
About Maria Nilsdotter.

Maria Nilsdotter graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2007 with a BA in Jewellery Design. Her six earlier collections are now followed by the collection called In Disguise.
In spring 2011 Maria Nilsdotter opened a small boutique/workshop located in Old Town, Stockholm. An eclectic and inspiring studio just off Skeppsbron. In the studio the visitors can see the jewellery being made, order custom pieces and find quirky accessories.

A/W 12:
The new collection called In Disguise draws inspiration from Swedish folk tales about loosing your true self and longing for another world. The materials used are among others blackened silver, mother of pearl, fresh water pearls and raw crystals.
