Carlsro - Spring /summer 2011

Spring /summer 2011 collection from camilla norrback is inspired from Camilla's memories of her childhood summers and the visits to the house Carlsro in Ostrobothnia. As so often before, she has returned to her roots in Swedish Finland.

This is the perception of Carlsro - the historic house from the 1860s that has been the scene of both blessed socialite lifestyles and tragic fates. Inspiration has been drawn from the architecture, the mystic atmosphere, the beautiful patterns on the tile, the lace tablecloths, secret passageways, faded colours, shadows and past feelings.

"I imagine the people who lived there at the turn of the century; their beautiful summer lives and all the drama that took place in and around the house. Both the happy, joyful and the mysterious, dark feelings are integrated in the collection ", says Camilla Norrback.
