Stylein

Stylein was born in New York 2001, where the founder and designer Elin Nyström went to FIT. The first Stylein collection was shown to the world in 2002 in New York. In 2003, Stylein moved its base to Gothenburg, Sweden, where also the major part of the production is now being made.

In 2006, Stylein expanded its Gothenburg presence by opening the brands first concept store. The store is a combination of a studio, shop and showroom and is located in the heart of Gothenburg. Apart from a very strong presence
on the Swedish market, Stylein is also available in selected stores worldwide, for example in Copenhagen, London, Antwerp, Paris, Athens, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles and Sydney.

Stylein's S/S 2011 collection analyses the energy that emerges in friendships – the way fellowship strengthens individualism. The result is soft falling drapes together with sharp linear silhouettes. Contrasts and similarities play important roles and create perfect harmony.

The aesthetics are sensually feminine, with elegant lengths and soft lines, and the materials are exclusive, such as knitted cashmere, sand-washed silk and lambskin. Our idiom is consistently soft with a distinctly heavy fall. The colors
range from cacao brown to light champagne and a dirty pistachio green.

Stylein greets spring 2011 in a balance between humble elegance and powerful confidence.
