The collection is inspired by Claude Cahun and ‘the Garçonne’. A homage to an eccentric artist who dressed as a vampire or a sailor, uncensored. A man’s waistcoat becomes a dress in black and grey tones, washed out silk, woven wool and velvet. Dark colours in natural fibres. Clothes from a man’s wardrobe, shaped into ultra-feminine forms; corsets, wide capes, laced dresses and belts. Cardigan Man, grandfather coats; the Smoking Room comes into its own. “La Mode Garçonne”: the refined elegance of the unfettered dandy, head held high, looking towards.
